Lusaka seems to have a lot of hotels and new spots popping up lately it’s a bit hard to keep track and the question is can they live up to the hype. Had a wander around The Urban when it first opened and have been afterwards a handful of times already as everyone keeps holding events there because Lusaka folk love a new hang-out place, so gathered the friends for a meetup and to have a good laugh. The best description I can give is it’s a very open concept mixed with a natural material thing. Like the African art pieces dotted around which gives the place its edge.

The à la carte menu has the usual offerings you see everywhere else except for the carbonara and tabbouleh which tasted really good, it is not always easy to make a salad interesting but they did it plus it was beautifully presented.
