Weekly Day And Night Time Beauty Routine

on

Trying to concentrate on my skin with a weekly slash biweekly routine as a result of having lots of breakouts lately to see what works and what does not work for me. I know for sure that having oily skin or taking certain medications, hormones, sunlight exposure, stress can all be contributing factors. Here are the products currently in use for my day and night time routine fingers crossed something works.

FYI it took a bit of time for me to get the majority of the products as postage from the UK is taking a while these days but they got here in the end.

Vitamin C

Finally got my hands on a Lumene product as you may know I’m a huge fan of Vitamin C and have talked about it previously. Fact is, I burn easily when in the sun and this product helps with tackling hyperpigmentation or when products that have sulfates in them are used which tends to clog pores and cause irritation. The glow boost essence is very lightweight, non greasy and blends easily in my skin, regularly use about two to three drops in the morning which gives me much needed rejuvenation.

Eye Cream

As most of my time is spent looking at a computer screen and suffer from insomnia, my under eyes need a radiant pick me up, literally. A plus for me is that, The Shiseido Ultimune Eye Serum is free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates. It claims to prevent the five main eye area concerns: wrinkle appearance, dryness, dark circles, puffiness and loss of resilience. So will keep at it to see how it goes because a little pump on fingertips goes a long way.

Day & Night Facial Oils

Never thought you could use oils when you have oily skin but it has worked out fine. Currently trying two types of oils one during the day and the other at night. The night time one is the Luna Sleeping Night Oil by Sunday Riley which goes from blue to clear when massaged into the skin, working throughout the night to deliver visibly youthful, luminous, even-toned skin in the morning also rich in anti-aging vitamins B,C,D,E, and A.

For the day oil I massage 2-3 drops as needed into my face, neck and décolletage, morning and/or evening biweekly. The good skin has a nourishing blend of adaptogenic oils and prebiotic oils which can be used morning or night time. The dreamy skin reduces pigmentation, lines and pore size plus is radiance boosting and nourishing used at night.

Anti Ageing Cream

You get to the stage when you need an anti-aging facial cream opted for one that is claimed to dramatically reduce the look of lines and wrinkles. It is also said to significantly improve skin density, firmness, and elasticity. Wish me luck!

Facial Masks

Really enjoy facial masks as they bring moisture back to my face especially during the dry season.
