Initially, I wasn’t too eager about going to a farm as I wasn’t sure how the day would pan out purely because I didn’t know what to expect, but I stayed open-minded about it.‌ ‌By‌ ‌the‌ ‌ ‌afternoon having experienced the AGCO Future Farm I left there feeling very informed and thoroughly enjoyed being there. They have programs that provide farmers, organisations or groups of individuals with a hands-on training experience of new technology suited to local markets in order to educate and create a more sustainable food production system. Its aim is to enhance agriculture practices which includes agronomy lessons such as crop protection, harvesting,‌ ‌crop‌ ‌storage and‌ ‌crop‌ ‌nutrition among many others from what I learned.

On the tour of the facilities, I had the opportunity to live out my childhood dream of sitting on a tractor.‌ ‌Was also impressed that you can rent a condo on the farm if you are looking for a getaway or are curious about living on a farm.
