I always like mini road trips to somewhere unknown with the thrill of discovery and adventure making it a welcome excuse to put on some make up and leave the house. Kwisoko Game Ranch is right off Leopards Hill Road on Chifwema Road East, Lusaka.It’s a very tranquil place if you are looking for an escape or something a little different then this is it. The road that way is all done up so no bumps on the road plus there are plenty of activities at the ranch. I opted for the game drive which is about 45 minutes but was kind of disappointed that I didn’t spot any giraffes. The food was very tasty, and the other great thing is that if you are in the mood for fish you can catch it yourself, they clean and gut it then cook it for you.
This place has the perfect glamping tents with air conditioning and a shower for those of us who can’t be bothered to camp properly. With views over the hills making it a stunning place for sunsets and sunrises.
