I can not believe that it has been a couple of years since my last visit to Monkey Pools and cabin fever had me yearning for a walk in the greater outdoors, so it was time to revisit the place. Located on leopards hill road within housing estate MukaMunya which in itself is situated at the source of the Mukamunya River where the magnificent feature called Monkey Pools lies.

Unlike last time, managed to spot a few monkeys swinging in the trees although they were to quick for me to take pictures.

With the amazing turquoise colour of the water especially when the sun hits, Monkey pools is a very serene place to go to for momentary escape especially as the pools are surrounded by an amazing walking trail all along the water so make sure you wear appropriate footwear.
