There are all kinds of breakfasts from all over the world from burritos, waffles, pancakes, smoothie bowls, french toast, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, granola, avocado, sweet or savory muffins, fresh bread with peanut butter but nothing beats a full English breakfast. Now i know that there is that age old argument about having fruit with your porridge or marmite on toast or baked beans for breakfast but hey, it works for some people.
I know the old saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but sometimes you are in a rush and can’t make it or just do the quickest thing. When I do have the time I like to switch it up by not just having toast but bread, peanut butter and banana wins most days and before it was all the rage avocado with poached eggs is my ideal classic. Here’s my share of some of the breakfasts I have made and had the most over time.
When it’s avocado season I can’t get enough of the stuff it never gets old but a fruity breakfast is more enjoyable when you live in a hot climate because it gets too hot to have anything hot but I will still have tea though. I have said it before strawberries, porridge oats, chia seeds and honey is the business but the fry-up is the weekend special as it leaves you full for hours which is great. When I have time I enjoy baking and love the smell of freshly baked muffins or scones.
