Not sure if it’s the usually hot weather that’s making the bananas go bad quickly but as a result I have resorted to freezing them in order to make smoothies and dairy free ice cream. Seen smoothie bowls all over instagram and I wanted to have a go at making one or three. Fyi the measurements I use are sight based no measuring, sorry not sorry.
Total time 5 minutes
- 1 Frozen Banana
- Handful frozen Strawberries
- Almond Milk
- Fresh sliced strawberries, raspberries, mango and banana
- Toasted muesli
Blend together the almond milk, frozen bananas and strawberries until thoroughly combined and smooth.
Pour blended mixture into a bowl. I suggest you refrigerate as it melts pretty quickly then once it’s harden a little top with berries, sliced bananas, mangoes, toasted muesli and mint.
