Hello, just before going to the cinema to finally watch Black Panther made a quick stop to grab a bite at a new hip and happening joint in Lusaka on Lagos Road in Rhodespark called Hashtag Social.

There is plenty of parking space and it is a very open space with an art gallery right across. Stepping inside through the door there is a central bar area and a few seats, but seating is mostly outside. You’ll see cool lighting all around with lots of yellows and black as the main colour scheme throughout which works very well with a small hint of green here and there.

What is the food like? The food was tasty and well-seasoned, found the menu to be heavily cheese centred with limited dairy free options. Other than that, they seem to have a plenty of options including an all-day breakfast, which I will probably try next time.

The bottom line: The place to go to enjoy a meal and drinks with family and friends, it’s very trendy and cool with plenty of space. There is also a spot if you want to take a picture or two, or the occasional selfie.
