Lusaka has officially entered its next level era in terms of new places that keep popping up and taking our coin making a random weekday worth dressing up to go and have Mille-feuille and Palmiers. Roisin has been making cakes for a while now but the switch of the new place is blushingly fresh with a bit of the lux side with a glass of champagne in hand. This isn’t our everyday bakery stop it’s an experience where she is offering more than those yummy cakes she has been making us for years now.

The cakes are very rich and filling, so I went ahead and ordered the cake without something bubbly as that’s how I prefer it. Suddenly it was not just dessert but an occasion. Let’s be honest this isn’t a cafe it’s a mood. It leans more towards indulgence than everyday affordability but that’s kind of the point, I presume.
