What a thrilling Rugby World Cup final it was, a huge congratulations to South Africa very well played sorry England. I have heard of Grand daddy’s passed by numerous times and from the outside, the place is always packed I didn’t get it until now. Known for its grilled meats hence the name “shoka nyama” loosely translated to grill meat, this is a place for people of all walks of life plus there’s a car wash on the premises just in case you require those services.

It has a very cool vibe, by day is a family-oriented environment with plenty of space for kids to run around and by night the VIP section has a cigar lounge with a moderate selection of whiskeys which are very well displayed. One of the coolest things to me about the place was the Remington typewriter and the fact that they have a bucket list for drinks.
Grand daddy’s is the perfect place to socialise with friends, family or colleagues, the open plan brings a much-needed breeze from the high temperatures of the summer heat we have had. These guys have a winning formula which works the guy that served us was incredibly attentive even though it was packed like crazy he made sure that our drinks were flowing like clockwork very impressive service.
