Hanlo Estate is one of those places that I love going to stay at because I always feel rested afterwards and it gives me that much required repose. There is nothing quite like escaping to a guest house that knows to get the simple things right like breakfast included, soft beds, quiet mornings, horse views and the best part is it feels like you are in the country side more especially on a rainy day. As I have shared not my first time here so opted for the room with a kitchenette as that was available this time round.

The moment you arrive everything is calm and unhurried the room is large, spacious and airy with bold beautiful colours where everything compliments each other and is tastefully done. The duvet was warm and cozy, admittedly I spent more time in bed because it is comfortable and my excuse was it that was raining outside.

The real charm lies just outside the massive window with wide open view of the grazing horses moving across the field puts a smile on your face.
Ordered pizza on one of the nights from the mall close by and played scrabble, to me this is a lovely blend of peaceful surroundings whether you are here for a weekend break or longer escape this place gives you comfort and country bliss right in the city. Always leaving you refreshed, restored and wishing you could stay just a little longer.
