A Delightful Bite At The Korean Bakery

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by these beautiful glass rows of yummy looking pastries and they keep baking and adding an irresistible mix of soft milk bread, sweet potato bread, other delicate pastries, puddings, and savoury buns filled with cream or bulgogi to display. So, your eyes are just eye balling everything with a smile. There is something to be said about pastry done right, when it’s fluffy, soft and melting in your mouth with each crunchy bite, but what brings it all it together is the presentation and this place nails it. A word of caution, you need to go with enough cash or mobile money because your waistline is not ready for this level of fluffy goodness.

The bakery is found at JCS Food Market in the Longacres area of Lusaka. After you walk in and gather yourself, you go ahead and pick a tray, wander through the rows and choose what catches your fancy then add a hot or cold cup of coffee or in my case the kiwi iced drink and enjoy a moment of calm, and a reminder that simple pleasures often taste the best.
