Back On the Intermittent Fasting Wagon

A while ago when I was struggling with gastrointestinal issues, was busy all the time and would grab food on the go I did Intermittent Fasting. Then things slowed down, started to feel better, had a change of scenery and got out of the habit but now I am more determined to stick to it. Have been back on the wagon for the last three months all seems to be going well, as a result decided to document what I ate in the space of seven random days.

What exactly is Intermittent fasting ? It is basically an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. There is no specification of which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them.

Fasting has in most instances been more associated with religious or spiritual reasons, these days it is also used as a way to lose weight with an eating pattern to dieting. There are different types of intermittent fasting methods, I do the 16/8 method which involves skipping breakfast and restricting your daily eating period within an 8 hours window my timeframe is 11 a.m to 7 p.m then fasting for 16 hours until the fast is broken the next day.
