Before I begin I would like to say I am by no means a makeup pro I just do what works for me after spending a bit of cash and finally finding the products that I like for me. I happen to be one of those people who once they find a product their face or body agrees with I stick to it like glue or until it is discontinued then the hunt begins again.
So, I wanted to try something a little different by incorporating two dupes into my daily makeup routine and to see what the results would be like. Now if there is one thing that everyone that can relate to as far as makeup is for it to be long lasting, the right shade for your skin tone and for it to all blend well together.
The Face
I usually use the vitamin c glow boosting moisturiser before I apply the foundation, or some primer depends on what I reach for first. Now, the goal is for the foundation to be light weight, so it doesn’t feel heavy on your face I use two to achieve this, the Matte Mousse from Maybelline and the Revlon Colorstay which both give me a natural finish. The finish of with a dusting of MAC prolongwear foundation and powder then my trusted blush from Sleek which by the way does not get old.
The Eyes
Normally I stick to golds, bronze and orange eye shadows most days depends on the season and at first glance some of the colours seemed a tad bold for me as other dupes tried before were not as pigmented but this one is wearable, I am still surprised by it what a vase improvement. Last step on the eyes is the mascara by Rimmel i love it so much.
The Lips
The lip pencil dupe doesn’t last all day as expected but it really is a cool shade that gives a matte finish which was unexpected.Until next time I think I will keep these two new additions and will see how far we can go.
This is such a pretty makeup look! Thanks for sharing 🙂
